Over the weekend, Samsung announced that they will be officially announcing their new S-series flagship on 29th March with two dedicated events held in New York and London. With just a month to go till the official announcement, the rumor mills are getting hotter with new updates and leaks coming out everyday. Just yesterday we got to see two videos showing Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in action. From within those videos curious onlookers have identified an interesting feature that the navigation bar on the screen will have sawpable buttons that means that you will be able to customize them according to your choice.

Samsung this time around has made some design changes. They have removed the home button which has given them the opportunity to reduce the bezels. This aspect has been confirmed in the different leaks and even the sign up page for the devices which went live and showed the outline of the device along with the promo videos. With the removal of the bar, the navigation bar is now on the screen and users will now be able to customize the back, home and overview buttons. This is a positive development, as it give users a bit more control over the device.

In terms of the specs that we know, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will both have a dual curved display with the display size being the only difference. Galaxy S8 will have a 5.8-inch display QHD Super AMOLED display and Galaxy S8+ will have a 6.2-inch QHD Super AMOLED display. Under the hood the device will be powered by Exynos 8895 and the Snapdragon 835, paired with a 4GB RAM. The new flagships will come with Samsung’s own voice based assistant Bixby. With a month to go, we will be haring more details about the features these devices have.
