Numerous leaks, report and some official teasers have revealed a lot about the the upcoming flagship by HTC – The HTC One M10. Previous rumors suggested that the smartphone will be released on April 11th in the London event. However, the company just officially announced the release date of their all new smartphone. Apparently the HTC One M10 will be unveiled on April 12th, one day late from the rumored date. This announcement has been made via HTC’s official twitter account. According to the picture above, you can tune in for a live video stream of the official unveiling on HTC’s official website. Although it isn’t clear whether an offline event will take place on the mentioned cities or not. As you can see, equivalent timings in New York, London and Teipei have been mentioned so that confusion could be removed regarding the online stream timings. If the company starts sending out invites for an event in any of the cities mentioned earlier, we’ll now that the unveiling won’t just be an online event.
Noe let’s have a look at the leaked/rumored specifications of the HTC One M10 (HTC Perfume) so far. Reportedly, HTC Perfume will be featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset which will definitely make it a worthy competitor of the other major flagships by tech giants like Samsung and LG. HTC One M10 will be unveiled with a 5.2-Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super LCD 5 display, fingerprint scanner embedded inside a home button, a 12 MP UltraPixel rear camera combined with dual-tone LED flash, wireless charging, 3000mAh battery, 4 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of expandable memory. Needless to say the smartphone will be running the latest Android Marshmallow which comes with new features like Google Now on Tap, Doze and a completely redesigned app icons. We’ve seen some renders featuring the upcoming smartphone but recently one talented designer has provided some high-resolution mock-ups to give a clear picture of HTC Perfume.
