Nokia under the HMD Global brand is launching an Android powered Nokia smartphone, the Nokia 6. The device at the moment is exclusive to China and will be sold by the retailer JD.com. As announced the sale of Nokia 6 is to start from 19th January. Well it seems that Nokia 6, has been making waves in China and has got almost 1 million registrations just ahead of its flash sales.

The retailer JD.com does not have 1 million devices at the moment. They are working on a strategy similar to what other companies are using, keeping the stock low to improve demand. Well it looks as if that on its first flash sale, Nokia 6 is going to be a sold out device.

Nokia 6 is a mid range device which is targeted at the competitive Chinese market where consumers look for high end specs in an affordable price tag. The smartphone is prices at $245. Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch display and  is powered by Snapdragon 430 SoC. It will be equipped with a 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. A 16 MP main and 8 MP selfie shooter adorn the device.

As of yet we cannot say how successful HMD Global will be in reviving the Nokia brand. Once people get their hands on Nokia 6 will we get to know the reviews. We can expect more devices from Nokia, as they have hinted at an MWC announcement.
