Nokia 6 became the first Android-running smartphone from the company but the refreshed version will have a few ‘firsts’ too. According to TENAA, the Nokia 6 2018 model will feature a different design and will also get a specifications upgrade, according to the leaked information that has come forward via a Chinese regulator.

Nokia 6 2018 specs reveal a Snapdragon 660 and 18:9 aspect ratio

For those that do not know, the Nokia 6 featured a Snapdragon 430, which is slightly more powerful than your average entry-level chipset, but cannot hold a candle to a Snapdragon 660. Well, if you want a mid-ranger that performs decently against the competition and also gets a decent price tag with the whole mixture, then the Nokia 6 2018 is the model that you should wait for.

According to the TENAA listing, the Nokia 6 2018 version is going to be the first smartphone from HMD Global and Nokia to sport an 18:9 aspect ratio. An affordable smartphone like this will obviously not get wireless charging support but not having wireless charging in a smartphone is not going to be the end of the world.

In the images that you see before you, a label ‘TA-1054’ has been spotted. The Nokia 6 2018 version with this exact label was previously leaked to get 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. More than likely this smartphone will be getting an expandable storage slot but there is no update if HMD Global and Nokia are going to make this a worldwide release.

Both companies might be looking at a small release during the first few months, then market the capabilities of the smartphone in other countries. The 2017 Nokia 6 came to America after a few months, so we should expect the same amount of time for the device to reach American soil.

So what is going to be the price tag of this phone? That continues to remain a mystery for now.
