No camera bump for Samsung Galaxy S8?

Design this year around is the focus of a lot of companies. This shows that they don’t just want to produce a device but want to make it aesthetically pleasing too. With increased competition, the design of the product is not something that companies can compromise on. Samsung for its upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S8 has also worked on this aspect. They are losing the iconic home button and with that increasing the display size, so that users can get a true edge-to-edge display.

Now a new image out at Weibo, the Chinese social networking site shows that there will be some changes to the rear camera too. It seems that along with the home button the designers at Samsung have said good bye to the camera bump too. If the said image is true, then the company has worked on producing a streamlined design. But whoever designed the image has incorrect measurements for the cameras which put the credibility of the said image in doubt. The camera of Galaxy S6 was 1.7 mm and Galaxy S7 was 0.8 mm. So, it is doubtful, if Galaxy S8 has no camera bump.

Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy S8 on 29th March and a select few people will have a look at it at the MWC 2017. The company has delayed its launch as they want to focus on testing and insuring quality of the device produced after the Note 7 disaster. With different news popping up everyday related to the device, we will get to know more about the design and different other specs of the device.
