Samsung has a lot riding on its upcoming flagship, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, as it will be the high-end smartphone that the company will launch after the Note 7 debacle. Industry analysts will be looking very closely as every move that Samsung makes and how the final product performs. Well, apart from that Samsung’s flagships are one of the most anticipated devices of the year and it is no different this time around. People are always speculating about how the device will end up looking like and make up different renders based on the information at hand. Today a new render of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are making rounds in tech town, showing off an impressive sleek device.

Samsung as per tradition will be launching two variants of the S-flagship, Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Both the variants will have a curved display and with display size being the only difference. Working on redesigning, the company ditched the home button, which gave way to an increased display and a true edge-to-edge display. Well if the this concept ends up looking like how the renders show then design wise the device is ticking all boxes with the metal glass design.

Galaxy S8 will be powered by Qualcomm latest Snapdragon 835 processor which has been produced using the 9nm process. This makes the chipset 25% faster and more energy efficient than its predecessor. In addition, it will be the first flagship to have this processorĀ on board. The smartphone will have a 12MP dual-pixel rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter, similar to what we saw in Note 7.

The fingerprint scanner will be found at the back of the device beside the camera. Along with that Samsung will be bringing its own AI assistant, Bixby on board which will have its own dedicated button. This can be seen in the renders as well, on the left side is the volume and power button and of the right side is the button for Bixby.

The renders are impressive but we should keep one thing in mind that these renders have been produced using the information that is available about the device. So, expect some changes in the final version of the device. Samsung will be teasing us with the Galaxy S8 promo at the MWC ahead of its official launch on 29th March.
