Samsung Galaxy S8 may very well be the Samsung’s saving grace after the fallout from the Galaxy Note 7 disaster, where they literally crashed and burned. Now the upcoming flagship is their chance to redeem themselves. All in all we have been hearing positive developments regarding the Galaxy S8. In the past week, we have seen different renders leak from case makers which hint at how the Galaxy S8 will end up looking like. The new renders out today hint at similar features that have been seen in earlier designs. Galaxy S8 will not have a home button, all the renders that have been seen to date do not have this feature.

Regarding the 3.5 mm headphone jack, there has been confusion. The new renders suggest that it is here to stay and will be present in the Galaxy S8. The USB Type-C port cut out is also present. Some analysts suggested that maybe Samsung will not use this feature which is a bit unusual as the company has already used this feature in Note 7. Companies do not usually back track from an already used feature.

Samsung Galaxy S8 will be unveiled on 29th March, not at the MWC as it was speculated earlier. The device will be present at the MWC but only selected people will get to see it. After the Note 7, the company is taking its time testing the elements so it does not face any issues.  Galaxy S8 is expected to launch on 17th April.
