More Images of Samsung Galaxy S8 emerge, revealing key features

The rumor mills regarding Samsung Galaxy S8 are going crazy, even though we are more than a month away from its official announcement. With analysts and Sammy fans, its hard to curb the excitement and every little detail is scrutinized. Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be unveiled next month, the official dates will be announced at the MWC. Till yet we have seen different renders and even even alleged live images of the device along with speculation about its features. New images for Galaxy S8 have emerged which show the device from different angles and even divulge information about its key features.

Both the variants of Galaxy S8 will have a curved screen display as Samsung will be making this feature a trademark for their flagship devices. The dual curved display is also visible in the leaked images. Along with that Samsung has ditched the iconic home button and with that increased the screen to body ratio. The new design shows off very slim bezels which give a device a true edge to edge display. In the leaked images we can see the always-on display function, a feature that Samsung introduced last year. Along with that in one of the images the powered up device shows the placement of the icons and the on screen buttons for navigation. At the bottom of the device the USB Type-C port and the 3.5mm audio jack are also present.

As far as the rest of the specs go, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will have a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch display. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and the Exynos 8895 SoC , paired with a 4GB RAM, the Chinese variants will have a 6GB RAM. The device will run Android Nougat and will be powered by 3000mAh and 3500mAh battery. Samsung’s voice based digital assistant, Bixby will be debuting with the Galaxy S8 and will even have its own dedicated button.

The credibility of these images cannot be confirmed till the official announcement of Galaxy S8 which takes place next month.
