Microsoft’s feature phone prototype surfaces; apparently RM-1182 won’t make it to the market

Considering the fact that Foxconn has bought the feature phone business of Microsoft along with the right to ‘Nokia’ name, couple of images just surfaced in China. The images in question feature a phone prototype of model number RM-1182, which bears the Microsoft name on top. The point to consider is that Microsoft has already sold its business due to which RM-1182 won’t be seen anywhere in the market. Instead the device might probably end up on ebay to be sold, eventually, to the highest bidder.

As mentioned earlier, the device carries the Microsoft name on it which seems a bit odd as the company has rights to Nokia name till 2024. Anyways, RM-1182 feature phone has dual-SIM support and 3G connectivity option. In addition to that, a flash resides alongside the rear camera. Even though the phone won’t be available for commercial sale, the leaked pictures out of China are attached below for your viewing.
