Microsoft Lumia 650 comes to US and Canada

The Microsoft Lumia 650 was unveiled this February and has been on sale in Europe since. The handset costs $199 for customers residing in US while Canadians can get their hands on the device for CAD 199. Note that this amount will get you a unlocked and SIM-Free unit.

Both of these smartphones can be ordered online via the Microsoft US and Canada Website. Lets have a look at the specifications of the Microsoft Lumia 650. It sports a 5 inch 720p display while a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chipset resides under the hood. SD212 SoC contains a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU while other specs include 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of Internal storage (expandable via microSD), 8 MP rear shoot, 5 MP font facing selfie camera, 4G LTE and 2,000 mAh battery. Last but not the least, Lumia 650 comes out of the box with pre-installed Windows 10 Mobile.

Before going ahead and buying the smartphone, please have a look at some drawbacks mentioned ahead. The Microsoft Lumia 650 comes with an entry level chipset and offers no 1080p video recording. The smartphone offers a considerably low, 2000 mAh, battery which probably wont be enough to get you through the day. In addition to that, it comes without the support for Windows 10 Continuum. So guys, if the above mentioned facts don’t bother you much, you can buy the Lumia 650 via online Microsoft store.
