Meizu Pro 6 set to be officially unveiled on April 13 in Beijing

Meizu Pro 6 has been under the radar for quite some time now. We had seen numerous leaks of the handset, not to mention the official teaser released couple of days ago. You’d know by now that the upcoming Pro 6 is identical to the one we have been seeing in leaked images and benchmark tests. Meizu finally announced the launch date of its upcoming flagship by sending out invites for an event in Beijing, China scheduled to take place on April 13.

Lets have a look at the other rumors of the handset, the Meizu Pro 6 will sport a 5.7″ QHD resolution display. Under the hood it might host either Samsung’s Exynos 8890 or MediaTek Helio X25 chipsetUFS3.0, Flyme 6.0 OS, a 21 megapixel rear camera, a 5 MP front-facing shooter, 4/6GB of RAM, fast charging and eMMC5.1 chips. A massive 3500 mAh battery will act as the source of power for the smartphone. Other features include laser autofocus, mTouch fingerprint scanner, 2.5D curved display and a USB Type C port. For those who haven’t heard of the Helio X25, it is basically an enhanced version of the Helio X20. The Helio X25 consists of two Cortex A-72 cores clocked at 2.5GHz to cater high performance duties. In addition to that, we have four Cortex-A53 cores running at 2.0 GHz and four more Cortex-A53 cores with clock speed of 1.4GHz to manage mid-size tasks and low performance tasks respectively.
