After the Chinese Manufacturer’s flagship smartphone went through extensive leaks and some official teasers, Meizu officially unveiled their all new 2016 flagship – the Pro 6.
The Meizu Pro 6 features a 5.2 inch Super AMOLED with 1080p resolution display. Under the hood it hosts MediaTek Helio X25 chipset which is accompanied by a 21 megapixel rear camera, a 5 MP front-facing shooter and 4 GB of RAM. The handset comes standard with 24W mCharge 3.0 while a rather small 2,560 mAh battery will act as the source of power for the smartphone. Other features include laser autofocus, mTouch fingerprint scanner, Curved Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a USB Type C port. One major feature is the 3D Press which will come standard with the handset.
In addition to the features mentioned above, the Meizu Pro 6 comes with circular 10-LED dual-tone flash. The aforementioned 21.1 megapixel camera also features phase-detection.
Lets have a look at the all new Helio X25 in detail, it is basically an enhanced version of the Helio X20. The Helio X25 consists of two Cortex A-72 cores clocked at 2.5GHz to cater high performance duties. In addition to that, we have four Cortex-A53 cores running at 2.0 GHz and four more Cortex-A53 cores with clock speed of 1.4GHz to manage mid-size tasks and low performance tasks respectively.
As for the price of the all new handset is concerned, you will be able to get your hands on the flagship for CNY 2,500 ($385/€340) for the 32GB option while the 64GB variant will set you back precisely CNY 2,800 ($430/€380). Note that the Pro 6 will reach stores on April 23.
