Marshmallow comes to Verizon’s HTC One M9, LG G3 and LG G4

Verizon recently came forward with a big release of Marshmallow for three of its devices. Apparently, HTC One M9, LG G3 and LG G4 will be receiving the upgrade to the latest Android Marshmallow simultaneously.

Although official notification from the company may come to different devices at different times, you can always go and check for updates manually.

For the HTC One M9, the new software version is 3.37.605.7, while the LG G3 gets VS98546A and the G4 will run VS98624C. Though every version will be packed with all the Marshmallow features like a completely new app drawer,redesigned app permissions, Doze, and Google Now on Tap and improved standby battery timing.

LG G3 was announced by the company in June 2014. It featured 5.5″ screen with 1440 x 2560 resolutions. At that time the device was running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The device was powered by a Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400. Apart from that 16GB internal memory and 2 GB RAM were also offered. As far as the camera is concerned, a 13MP laser auto focus optics at the back and 2.1MP camera was available for selfies.

LG G3 was descended by LG G4 which was announced in April 2015. It also featured 5.5″ screen with 1440 x 2560 resolutions. At that time the device was running on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device was powered by a Quad-core 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53. Apart from that 32GB internal memory and 3 GB RAM were also offered. As far as the device’s camera is concerned, a 16MP laser auto focus optics at the back and 8MP camera was available for selfies.

As far as the HTC One M9 is concerned, it was announced in March 2015. It featured 5.0″ screen with 1080 x 1920 resolutions. At that time the device was running on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The device used a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. Apart from that 32GB internal memory and 3GB RAM were also offered. As far as the camera is concerned, a 20MP optics at the back and 4MP camera was available for selfies.
