We’ve seen the rumor mills getting cool down for the most anticipated devices of the year, like Galaxy Note 3, Xperia Z1 and Apple’s iPhone 5S and 5C, but wait, this not the time for the rumor mill to shut down actually. Google’s Nexus 5 is yet to come and compete it’s rivals like Galaxy s4, HTC One, Xperia Z1 and others.
The guys at phonescoop caught their ceyes on the Nexus 5 today. As FCC has always been a prominent source for the unreleased and unannounced phones, today, the FCC photos leaked Google’s next Nexus – the Nexus 5.
According to FCC filing , Nexus 5 sports a 4.96-inch display, we expect it to be a Full HD display. If Nexus 5 is a device to be manufacuted by LG , we expect that the device will run on a snapdragon 800 processor under the hood along with a 13 MP camera at the back and a front facing camera as well.
The device was earlier leaked in the Android 4.4 KitKat launch event posing in a developer’s hand. It looks pretty much like Nexus 4 on the front, while the device’s back looks to be matte and quite changed. The photos leaked by FCC show the same device and thus give us a clear idea of it being a Nexus 5.
We expect that Nexus 5 will be leaving the factory doors having Android 4.4 inside. Google is set to release Android 4.4 and Nexus 5 on 14th October, 2013.
