A few days back we reported that LG G4 that was pegged for an MWC unveiling will not be part of LG’s product lineup for the event. The latest reports out confirm an LG executive saying that the new flagship will arrive somewhere is Q2, as the company is working on ‘perfecting the new phone’. This delay actually goes with LG’s release schedules for previous years, LG G3 was announced at a dedicated event in May, and so we will be looking at the G4 somewhere around that time.
LG seems to be working on tweaking the design of the G4, as the previous version G3 was not much different from G2 in terms of design language. So if LG wants to impress users, they need to change things on that end. Along with the design, the company would be working on enhancing the camera specs, LG G3 had a main camera of 13-megapixel and it is most likely that LG G4 will sport a 20.7-megapixel main camera with Optical Image Stabilization. The other rumored features of the device are a Quad HD display, Snapdragon 810 processor accompanied by a 4GB RAM.
LG has defined its market presence through the G series smartphones. In 2014 the company sold 51.9 million smartphones and their sales growth improved by 25.2%. LG for 2015 will definitely work towards improving their global presence and bringing out great devices to retain their market share. In the meanwhile have a look at some of the concepts for the LG G4.
