Is this what LG G6 will look like?

LG rolled out its invitation to ‘Play More, See More ‘ for their MWC event which is schedule for 26th February. The company will be unveiling their latest flagship, the LG G6 at the event. After a failed attempt at a modular design for LG G5, the company has worked on making things simpler by focusing on what users need. Newly leaked images of LG G6 by case maker Ghostek, shows what the device will end up looking like. Ghostek was responsible for outing the renders for Samsung Galaxy S8 a few days back too. Now it seems to be teasing us with new images of LG’s latest flagship.

The leaked images show LG G6 to be rendered in a waterproof casing from their Atomic 3 lineup. Case makers get information about upcoming products from companies so that they have the accessories prepared in time for the launch of the device. Some of the elements are in line with LG’s design philosophy. We can see this in the dual camera setup and the placement of the the fingerprint scanner at the back.

LG seems to have made use of metal, glass body for LG G6. It will sport a 5.7 inch Quad HD display. Rumors are that under the hood it will have Snapdragon 835 paired with a 4 GB RAM. Most probably it will be water resistant as not using a modular design will help them achieve this. One of the things that LG has assured users about is the battery, that it will not over heat as they have made use of copper pipes to distribute the heat.

LG G6 will be unveiled at the MWC 2017 and will be available in markets from 10th March. As far as how true the design is that Ghostek has leaked, we can say that some of the elements may turn out be true. More rumors, leaks and update in the coming day will confirm what LG has been cooking up.
