Is Samsung’s MWC invitation hiding a Galaxy S6 Edge in plain sight?

Samsung is sending invitations out for its Mobile World Congress event which is schedule for 1st March in Barcelona. It is expected that the company will unveil their next flagship Samsung Galaxy S6 at the event. MWC is going to be one start studded event with HTC and other companies showing off their best wares to gain spotlight.

Samsung’s invitation was very interesting and we were speculating about what that might be, was it showing how the company has revamped the S-series with this new flagship or was the company planning to unveil its dual sided curved display variant the Galaxy S6 Edge at the event also. A new image which has popped up at PhoneArena courtesy of a Korean site suggests that it might be the case, Samsung has very intelligently hidden Galaxy S6 Edge in plain sight in the invitation and to prove that aspect they have filled the curve silhouette at the top with the edged smartphone and what do you say, it fits.

A while ago we also posted some images of a patent design that Samsung filed, well this version in the picture does not look like the one seen in the patents but it does look similar to the one Samsung has already tried and tested with Galaxy Note Edge and the manufacturer at the software level is equipping the edges with interesting features. Have a look at the invitation images below and let us know what you think, will Samsung be introducing Galaxy S6 Edge at the MWC along with the Galaxy S6 or is it mere wishful thinking on our part?
