Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was launched back in July 2015. Just like the original Galaxy Tab S, the successor of Tab S also came in two different variants. We have an 8.0-inch Galaxy Tab S2 and a 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab S2. The one that we are going to do some work on in the succeeding post is the 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab S2 which comes under the model numbers SM-T810 and SM-T815. Galaxy Tab S2’s bigger variants are equipped with a 9.7-inch display having a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels.

Samsung equipped the Galaxy Tab S2 with a 1.9 GHz and 1.3 GHz Octa Core CPU accompanied by a RAM of 3 GB. We can find an 8 MP shooter fitted at the back, and a 2.1 MP shooter fitted at the top of its front. Galaxy Tab S2 9.3 was found running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box, the device was later updated to Android Marshmallow.

    Thanks in advance

    • @clareespley:disqus Are you able to boot into the phone? Is the recovery booting up or that error is the only thing you can see at the moment?

If your device is stuck at this stage, then flashing a stock firmware will quickly recover it without any data loss.

  3. I’m looking for a pic file for mine. I got a demo model and the guy who JTaged it back to sanity ended up carving out only 4GB of space with the original image. So I need a Pic file so I can get my space back.

  4. I am stuck on point 10. After rebooting in recovery mode I get the TWRP splash screen. Touching/swiping it, or just waiting, does nothing. Then the tablet reboots normally.
I have tried to repeat the entire process, but I cannot go past the TWRP splash screen. Any suggestion?
