The 2016 models are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 CPU and a RAM of 3 GB with 32/64 GB onboard storage. The 9.7-inch tab has an 8 MP shooter fixed on the front and a 2.1 MP selfie shooter. Galaxy Tab S2 originally ran on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The device got an update to Android 7.0 Nougat. We are not sure whether Samsung will update this tablet further or not.
