  1. Hello, Lollipop works great so far on my s3 mini.

I had to install 5.1.x Gapps because I got some errors for the ones in the link (5.0.x)

It works nonetheless and my bluetooth is back 🙂

    Another question:

For some reasons I no longer have root access.

What would be the safest way to add that?

    Thank you

  2. Hi, I would like to know if it’s necessary to download TWRP and Titanium Backup if you have nothing on your phone and will be using it for the first time? Also, should you download both or just one?

      • Thanks so much. One more question, what’s the difference between Nandroid Backup and EFS backup? Should both be done?

        • @disqus_WmC5hboL70:disqus Nandroid is the whole system of your phone. EFS contains radio and mac addresses, which are responsible for network connectivity of your phone.

    • @khomsovannraksmey:disqus you must have a custom recovery to install the firmware. If you already have a latest one installed, you may use that.

  6. Does the video camera still not working? I mean, what are the chances for it to fail? Thats the only issue that stops me from upgrading. Thanks

    • @oscar_ulate:disqus if the stock camera application doesn’t work, you can also try using any third party camera application from Play Store.

  9. Hello Usama, I had some issue. After I install the firmware, the touch button back and option seems not respond. But, the firmware works great so far on my s3 mini and all your guide help a lot. I wish you have an answer. Thank you for you hardwork !

      • @usamamujtaba:disqus GG. =.=’ Still problem. In reboot the both touch button keep blinking a while. I think the hardware is fine and I should wipe and flash again with the ROM and gaspp. Maybe my mistake in there. Shouldn’t I ? Anyway thanks for your helps.
