Recent reports and rumors are strongly suggesting that Apple will be launching a smartphone with a screen size similar to iPhone 5s. This smartphone might be named ‘iPhone SE’ which will make it the first iPhone to carry a name without a number since the very first of its kind (launched in 2007). Although iPhone SE will be carrying a 4 inch screen, there will be no compromise on its performance capabilities. Reportedly this upcoming device will be unveiled with the same power and features as in iPhone 6s.
We received a couple of schematics of the smartphone a few days earlier but no physical evidence was present until now. A French website, NWE, posted the very first look of the smartphone and claim that the photos have been provided by a reliable leakster. By observing the leaked images and comparing them to iPhone 6s, we can easily figure out that iPhone SE won’t be featuring the 3D touch. Despite that fact, the upcoming device will reportedly feature Live Photos. These images allow the user to see a 3-second video of their photograph.
A credible Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the iPhone SE will feature a 12 megapixel rear snapper instead of the rumored 8 megapixel camera. Mr Kuo further speculated that the upcoming smartphone will be somewhere in between $400 to $500 and will be offering two different storage options – 16GB and 64 GB. Furthermore the device will pack a 1642 mAh battery along with Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 802.11ac under the hood.
We are expecting to see the unveiling on 22nd march(though previously March 15th was being rumored.) along with some other devices. We are anticipating an unveiling of Apple iPad 3 and an upgraded Apple Watch. The newer iPad will basically be targeting those customers who’d love the performance capabilities of the iPad Pro minus the 12.9″ screen size and sky-high price. Therefore the iPad 3 will be running a A9X chipset along with 4GB of RAM, feature quad-speakers while support compatibility with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard. As far as the refreshed Apple Watch is concerned, reports are that the new watch might surface with Apple FaceTime support.
We will be updating you as the topic develops, until then please check out the leaked iPhone SE’s images attached below and let us know what you think of the new iPhone.
