After a well-known leakster, Evan Blass surfaced with an image that featured the lower front part of the upcoming Moto G4 Plus, it was clear that the handset will come standard with a physical home button which will allegedly hosts fingerprint scanner. Apart from Evan’s tweet, another leaked picture came under spotlight last month which showed a smartphone with an identical home button.
You might have heard, a Lenovo official previously announced that the 2016 line-up of Motorola smartphones will feature a fingerprint scanner and none of them will sport a screen size smaller than 5-inch. Note that Motorola Mobility was purchased by Lenovo back in 2014.
Nevertheless, we just received two leaked images of the Moto G 2016 which all but confirm the previous reports and rumors. Apparently the 4th gen Moto G features a fingerprint scanner embedded inside a square-shaped home button.
Moving on the image featuring the back view of the handset, a vertical strip contains hosts the camera department. The two small dots visible above the camera might be the Laser autofocus, however, we still haven’t heard any news on the internal hardware of the smartphone. Considering the fact that Motorola hasn’t unveiled any new handset since past six months, we can expect a launch soon. So stay tuned for the latest news.
