One of the devices from Huawei’s lineup that we will most probably see at the MWC is the Huawei Mate 7 Compact. The company announced that it is not ready to introduce another flagship in the market currently, so the much anticipated Huawei P8 will not be a part of Huawei’s product lineup at the event.
Huawei Mate 7 Compact is a smaller version of the company’s Ascend Mate 7, the company recently decided to drop the Ascend name making their series name simpler. With the ‘compact’ version Huawei seems to following the same philosophy that Sony does for its Xperia Z series compact devices, only the size changes and the devices retain most of the high-end specs.
The reported specifications of the Huawei Mate 7 Compact are that it will sport a 5.5-inch display. It will be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 925 chipset and will sport a 13-meagapixel main camera. @leaksfly tweeted some images of the alleged Huawei Mate 7 Compact. Along with this device, we may see come affordable LET enabled devices from Huawei’s new series at the MWC and maybe an Android Wear Watch too. The company will hold its event on 1st March and will reveal their selected products for the biggest tech event.
