LG will be unveiling LG G6, their flagship for the year the MWC 2017, taking place later this month. Rumors and leaks related to LG G6 have been in circulation for the past few months hinting at some interesting features and details. Last week we go to see an impressive press render of LG G6, now images of the alleged LG G6 prototype have leaked confirming a few key details that we saw earlier.

In terms of the display of LG G6, the images hint at slim bezels. This feature gives way for increased screen-to-body ratio and this is one of the key features a lot of other brands are also focusing on. LG has shied away from the modular design that it used in G5, as G6 shows off a sleek metal frame. The device is a prototype and most probably undergoing testing, we can see different wires attached to it at its back. As the device is under development, confirmation about the material used is not there. Although rumors suggest that LG may make use of metal for a metal and glass uni-body design. The back of the device shows off the dual cameras, dual LED flash, and fingerprint scanner. At the bottom of the device we can see a cut out for a USB-C port and nano speakers.

As the device is a prototype and still undergoing testing, the final product may end up with some different elements as shown off in the images. One of them is definitely going yo be the material used for the rear of the device. According to earlier reports LG G6 will sport a 5.7-inch 2,880×1,440 display with an aspect ration of 19:8. Under the hood it will be equipped with Snapdragon 821, paired with a 6G RAM. LG may also make use of Google Assistant, jumping on the smart digital assistant bandwagon that other companies are focusing on this year.

LG will be unveiling LG G6 on an event scheduled for 26th February at the MWC. One of the key things that the company is focusing on is maximizing their profits in the space left by Samsung. For that purpose, they are releasing LG G6 on 10th March. In addition, the company is also dropping crumbs, providing information about their ‘Ideal Smartphone’ to create hype from promo videos to statements that their battery is very safe after undergoing rigorous testing.
