Huawei has gone with the classic round dial design. After Moto G’s success last year different companies have gone for the classic look. Simple sometimes is best and it seems to be true in the case of smartwatch designs. The design looks great and the company is branding it as a luxury product. As far as specifications go it will be 42 mm in diameter and have a sapphire glass display along with a metal unibody.

The watch will be available in three different classic finishes: silver, gold and black. Hawei knows how people like to accessorize and personalize their products, so they will be offering different bands in the future as well. The device will run on Android Wear and will have a heart-rate monitor and a fitness tracker as well. We are hoping that Huawei apart from the design have worked on optimizing the battery life as well as this is one of the woes that smartwatch users face, the battery does not last for more than a day. Companies developing werables should work on improving this aspect as well.

We will get to know more about the Huawei Watch and the different other features it offers at the MWC event. Stay tuned to see which smartwatch steals the limelight at the event.
