With one of the biggest tech events around the corner, companies are planning, scheduling and looking for ways to outdo their competitors. In the last two days we have gotten to know about Samsung’s and HTC’s plans for the event in Barcelona, now Huawei has also sent out invitations for the pre-event press conference. The company will be kicking off the event on 1st March, just like HTC.

As to what the company plans to announce, we do not have any idea about that but tag line for the event is quite impressive ‘surprises that will empower you to set your dreams free’. We wonder what that might be. To date the speculations revolving around Huwaei’s MWC line up suggest that the company may launch the Media PadX2 at the event along with Huawei P8, as they are dropping the name Ascend for this line up.

Huawei P8 if announced at the event will be the company’s flagship for 2015. The reported specifications are that it will sport a 5.2-inch full HD display and will be powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 930 chipset. Maybe we will also see some mid-range smartphones from the company at the event as they have announced to launch affordable LTE connectivity devices.

With the MWC a couple of weeks away we will get to know more about what the company plans to unveil at the event in the coming days. So stay tuned to see what Huawei is cooking for the grand event.
