Huawei is set to release its flagship, the P9, on April 6 and yet it pays another visit to the GFXBench. The benchmark test claims that the upcoming smartphone will feature Huawei’s own Kirin 955 chipset. In addition to that, P9 sports a 5.1 inch 1080 x 1920 resolution (FHD) display, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The listing also confirms the Leica’s 12 MP dual camera system featured on the rear side of the Huawei P9. We already told you about the joint venture of Huawei and Leica to produce the dual camera system featured in the upcoming Huawei flagship. Huawei’s own deputy chairman of the board, Mr Guo Ping, announced that they are going to launch the P9 flagship phone very soon and that it the is the product that they worked with Leica to produce. In addition to that, the GFXBench also reveals a 8MP front facing camera.
For those who don’t know about the Kirin 955 chipset, it features an octa core (four Cortex-A72 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores) 2.5GHz CPU in addition to the Mali-T880 GPU. We are expecting Huawei to unveil the Huawei P9 Lite and Huawei P9 Max along with the simple Huawei P9 on April 6. Stay tuned to stay updated with the latest news.
