Huawei P10 Plus to have an 8GB RAM variant

Huawei will be unveiling a new smartwatch, Huawei Watch 2 at the MWC, along with the curtain will be raised to reveal the flagship of the year, Huawei P10. From earlier reports we know that there will be two variants, Huawei P10 and P10 Plus. A few days ago a promotional document out of China revealed the specs of the two variants indicating that Huawei P10 will have three variants and P10 Plus will have two variants which will only vary in their storage capacity. The highest RAM configuration that came out with that document indicated that both P10 and P10 Plus will have a variant with a 6GB RAM. Now a listing on a Spanish website, Phone House suggests other wise. The new information reveals that  Huawei P10 Plus will have a whopping 8GB RAM.

According to the information listed on the site, Huawi P10 Plus will have a 5.5-inch Full HD display. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by Kirin 960, along with an 8GB RAM. If the RAM specs listed here are true, this means that P10 Plus will be first smartphone to have this RAM spec on board. In addition the device will have 256GB of internal storage which can can be extended to 512GB via the microSD card. The smartphone will come with a dual camera setup at the back with two 12-megapixel cameras and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. The listing also provides information on the colors, the color in the listing in silver but we can expect more color options too. Huawei P10 will retail at $799 in Spain.

This information provided here contradicts the one that we found in the promotional flyer last week. But as things go, take this information with a pinch of sale. We will be looking at more information regarding Huawei P10 and P10 Plus in the coming days, stay tuned.
