Huawei Mate 10 Pro might start getting sold through AT&T and Verizon

It is hard to believe that Huawei is the 3rd biggest smartphone manufacturer in the world right now, with Samsung and Apple holding the top position at this current point. The company also makes premium notebooks, hybrids, and other products in the consumer electronics space to boost its ranking.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro might start getting sold through AT&T and Verizon

However, its market in America is nothing compared to what Apple and Samsung have accumulated. This is possible because Huawei’s devices are not sold through any carrier like AT&T and Verizon but instead, the company’s smartphones are sold through online shops such as Amazon. The problem with this business model is that customers will always have to pay the full price for an unlocked smartphone and giving away $500 like it was nothing is not something that buyers are going to be comfortable with at this time.

So, Huawei will most definitely have a different plan up its sleeve but what is it going to be? According to a report from Etnews, Huawei is going to be selling its Mate 10 Pro or Mate 10 through AT&T and Verizon very soon. This is most likely not going to happen this year, but the report does not detail anything about this potential announcement.

It is more than possible that the press release takes place during the first quarter of 2018, but that is also going to be the time when Samsung and LG will be readying to release its Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and the G7. Huawei will most likely be making an appearance at MWC 2018 and it could tell which flagships are going to be released in the American market.

Being sold through a carrier means that the buyer can choose to pay in monthly installments for a period of two years. In this way, they will be able to save money for other expenses, and they might also be eligible for a variety of discounts and free accessories along the way.

Will you upgrade to the Mate 10 Pro or Mate 10?
