HTC Unveiled Desire 601 and Desire 300

HTC has recently announced it’s 2 new smartphones the HTC Desire 601 previously leaked and rumored as HTC Zara and the other one is HTC 300. HTC Desire 601 is a mid range phone allowing the users to enjoy it’s high-tech specs while HTC Desire 300 looks like  a smartphone made for the Android newbies.

HTC Desire 601 looks closer to that of the HTC Desire 600 Dual SIM, but this phone has only got one SIM slot. Desire 601 is also thicker as compared to the desire 600. The phone occupies a 4.5-Inch display screen, 1.4 Ghz Dual Core Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1 GB RAM and a 2100 mAh battery(non removable). The phone also offers LTE & HSPA + 42 Mbps connectivity.



The phone has also got a VGA camera at the front and 5MP camera at the back having some features from world’s most beautiful smartphone HTC One, these include Sequence Shot, Object Removal, Always Smile & VideoPic. It uses 1/4″ BSI sensor with a wide F/2.0 aperture and a 28mm wide lens and is supported by HTC’s very own image processing chip called HTC ImageChip. The camera is also capable of capturing the videos up to 1080 p.

Desire 601 also occupies HTC’s very own features like HTC Zoe & Video highlights in the Gallery, these features were first introduced in the HTC One family.

HTC Desire 300 is likely a good phone for the smartphone newbies. The phone came up with a 4.3-inch WVGA display screen, dual core 1 Ghz Snapdragon S4 chipset, 512 MB RAM. The phone has got a 5MP camera at the back having an F/2.8 aperture and 34mm wide lens. The internal memory is about 1.2 GB but is expandable through a microSD card. HTC Desire 300 has got a 1650 mAh battery inside, which is also removable.



Unlike the HTC Desire 601, Desire 300 does not support HTC Zoe but it does support HTC Blinkfeed which turns your homescreen into a list of updates from the social networks



Both the phones are expected to be released in October, 2013
