HTC released Android 4.4 KitKat update schedule for HTC One devices

HTC, the Taiwanese manufacturer has once again shown the impressive work in the software update department for its latest flagship HTC One. HTCw One is already running on Android 4.3, that left Samsung Galaxy S IV and other competitors behind in terms of Android update. HTC has recently announced the schedule for Android 4.4 KitKat update for its HTC One.

“Across EMEA, HTC will work with local carriers to begin the roll-out of Android 4.4 with Sense 5.5 for the HTC One from the end of January. The Google Play edition will start to receive the update earlier, starting from the end of November. Details regarding the HTC One Max and HTC One Mini will follow.”


In case you don’t know, let us recap. HTC One sports a 4.7” Full HD Display with 469 ppi. The device is powered up with Snapdragon 600 Quad Core CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz while it is powered up with a 2 GB RAM. There is a 4mp Ultrapixel camera at the back, that is supposed to be much more brilliant then the normal one and it has got a 2 MP camera at the front. HTC One became the best smartphone in the world because of its premium and beautiful design.
