HTC M9 Price & Specs Revealed By Best Buy Ahead Of Release

We are just 2 hours away from the official unveiling of the all new HTC One M9, and even now, the leaks are not coming to an end. A while ago, North American online store Best Buy listed HTC One M9 on their site accompanied by some of its specifications and the price. The listing displays the device for pre-order under a tag of $649, however it does not display the availability date and mentions “coming soon” instead. The leaked specifications by Best Buy vary greatly from those of the previously rumoured specifications of the device.

Let’s talk a bit about the price first. $649 seems to be in-line with price tag of most of the manufacturer’s flagship devices, it looks like a fair deal since HTC M9 will sure be all metal and it will offer a premium design, build quality and look with some top-notch specifications under the hood. We can’t expect HTC to pull out M9 with a price tag to compete OnePlus One or Google’s Nexus 5.

According to Best Buy’s listing, HTC One M9 will be powered up with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz. It will be packing up a RAM of 3 GBs, internal storage will begin from 32 GB and there will be a MicroSD card slot as well. SD card slot seems to be a nice addition for sure. However, the device will have a 5.0-inch full HD display. The display factor may not win HTC a lot of winning points since most of the manufacturers are ditching full HD screens and moving towards QHD displays. Best Buy also mentions that HTC One M9 will have a 20 MP front facing Camera and a 4 MP Ultra Pixel Camera at the back. 20 MP front camera on the front is a little bit of itchy for a smartphone. HTC M9 will offer a battery standby of 480 hours. Out of the box, it will be running on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Although there’s a lot of stuff that can help us to figure out about the real device, but we will suggest our readers to take these specifications with a pinch of a salt and wait for only 2 more hours to see the device coming out officially. Let us know what do you think about this price and these specifications of HTC M9?
