HTC is all set for the international launch of its flagship Desire 620, which was launched a couple of days back in its home country, Taiwan. The device will first be launched in European markets. So European fans, if you were looking forward to HTC Desire 620, mark your calendars for January, as the device will be available near you soon. Wouldn’t this make the start of your New Year extra special? Well in Taiwan the Desire 620 has been released in two variants, confirmation related to Desire 620G also being released in internationally has not been made yet. Will keep you all updated about this development.
HTC Desire 620 has a 5-inch 720 x 1280 display and will be equipped with a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor. It sports an 8 MP rear and 5 MP front facing camera. The smartphone will be equipped with a 1 GB RAM AND 8 GB internal memory, which is extendable to 128 GB. Desire HTC 620 will run on Android Kit Kat and most probably will get an update of the latest operating system Android Lollipop.
It’s a mid-range category smart phone. Skeptical about this move by the company, if they are trying to cut a slice in the European markets, then they should have gone with a bolder approach, by introducing HTC One M9 in March-April. Why launch a smartphone which offers nothing new to its users, and why not wait and offer people something new and unique? How well HTC Desire 620 does sales wise is dependent on its performance, so let’s see what that results in.
