HTC 10’s launch in India still under consideration

Yesterday, after the official unveiling of the HTC 10, reports surfaced suggesting an under-powered variant of the flagship. This particular variant will be powered by a Snapdragon 652 SoC instead of the Snapdragon 820 SoC featured in the standard HTC 10. Later we saw the SD652 version of HTC 10 listed on HTC’s Indian website which led to speculations that the country will be one of those which wont be seeing an official launch of SD820 powered HTC 10.

However, a HTC spokes person cleared the air by stating that the fact that HTC 10 Lifestyle has been listed on company’s Indian website instead of the standard HTC 10 should not be taken as the ultimate decision of the smartphone’s availability. Thus, we’ll have to wait a bit to get the official confirmation regarding the launch of HTC 10/HTC 10 Lifestyle in India. Note that the spokesperson further announced that the official statement regarding the matter will surface in the near future, however no exact date/time was specified.
