After Samsung and LG ad their turns with their flagships, HTC just unveiled it all new HTC 10. We have heard/seen numerous rumors and leaks since the past few weeks, however everything has just been confirmed by the Taiwanese company. HTC’s One M is a flagship series which first appeared in early 2013 when HTC launched ONE M7. After the M7 got a great response from customers and emerged as a best high-end Smartphone, One M8 and One M9 followed in the subsequent years. This year HTC dropped the ‘One M’ and released its 2016 flagship with the aforementioned title – HTC 10. Lets have a look at the all new smartphone as see if the well-known high-end manufacturer came up with a worthy competitor of Samsung, LG, Apple, and Sony. HTC 10 Smartphone features a 5.15 inch large display with 1440 X 2560 pixels QHD resolution. It proves to be a perfect smartphone for multitasking and gaming as it features 4GB RAM and powerful Snapdragon 820 Processor which is world’s fastest mobile processor yet.
HTC will come standard with all-metal unibody design along with always-on display introduced with Galaxy S7 series and LG G5. HTC 10 will be powered by HTC Sense 8 UI running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. As far as network and connectivity are concerned, it has Single SIM with 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks support.
Camera Specs: HTC’s latest flagship features a 12MP sensor with large pixels (1.55µm), a bright f/1.8 aperture and OIS. The camera can shoot 12-bit RAW, 4K 2160p videos and Hi-Res audio. As far as the selfie shooter is concerned, HTC 10 comes with a 5MP sensor (1.34µm pixels) and f/1.8 aperture.with Optical Images Stabilization which gives best selfie capturing experience ever with sharp and bright images.
As mentioned earlier, HTC M10 is coming with Octa Core Snapdragon 820 Pro processor. The Snapdragon 820 is fastest processor for mobiles with 2.2 GHz clock cycles per second and supports Adreno 530 graphics processor. In addition to that, a 3000 mAh in-built battery acts as a power source.
Other major features include High-end Multi tasking, FingerPrint Scanner, Wireless Fast Charging, BoomSound and Innovative light design. The BoomSound works as a two-way speaker – tweeter (high frequencies) and woofer (low frequencies). While fast charging is must needed thing with large batteries as it consume a lot of time in complete charging in normal circumstances. But with the new wireless fast charging technology we will be able to charge a 3000 mAh battery in just one hour.
Apparently the HTC 10 will cost $699 at launch and be available on Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile. An unlocked variant will also be available straight from HTC’s store.
