Rumors suggest that a variant of HTC 10 might also be launched with a Snapdragon 652 chipset as opposed to the Snapdragon 820 SoC. For those who aren’t familiar with the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 SoC (aka SD652) – it is a Octa core CPU which includes four 1.4GHz ARM Cortex-A53 cores and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A72 cores.
As far as other specifications of this particular HTC 10 are concerned, the device will be available with 3GB of RAM while the internal storage capacity amounts to 16 GB. Other specifications of the smartphone are similar to HTC 10 with Snapdragon 820 SoC under its hood. Both smartphones will sport 5.2-Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super LCD 5 display, fingerprint scanner embedded inside a home button, a 12 MP UltraPixel rear camera combined with dual-tone LED flash, wireless charging, 3000mAh battery and USB Type C. Needless to say the smartphone will be running the latest Android Marshmallow which comes with new features like Google Now on Tap, Doze and a completely redesigned app icons.
HTC has officially announced that the handset will be unveiled on April 12, while rumors suggest that it will reach HTC’s stores in Taiwan on April 15. Reportedly you’ll be able to get your hands on the SD652 variant for RMB 3,799 (around $585).
