How to Update Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 to Android 4.3 Leaked Test Firmware [Guide]

It’s been long since the users are waiting for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for their beloved Samsung Galaxy Note 2 but Samsung is taking too long and is getting late this time, and finally today, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean has been leaked in a wild for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 while Samsung was busy testing it before rolling out officially. The firmware is scheduled to roll out in the months of November and December to the users through OTA updates. While the official launch is far away, you may wandering how you can update your Note 2 to the leaked Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware.

Here’s the guide, Follow the steps to the letter and have Android 4.3 installed on your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 🙂

Make sure that you’ve at least 60% of your battery charged. Back up all your important data, Contacts, Messages and Call logs as you are going to wipe the factory data after flashing the Stock Firmware.

Please keep in mind that this is leaked firmware and will not void your phone’s warranty or raise the flash counter.

Here’s how to update:

    • Download Odin from HERE and unzip it. – Get HERE
    • Download and Install Samsung USB drivers – Get  HERE.
    • Download the Stock Leaked Firmware Android 4.3 Jelly Bean from HERE
    • Unzip the downloaded Android 4.3 firmware file once.
    • Put your phone in download mode, in order to do so turn off your phone by pulling out the battery or by long pressing the power button and wait for 30 seconds. Turn on your phone now by pressing and holding Volume Down + Home Button + Power Key simultaneously.
    • Connect your phone to your PC using the original data cable. As soon as the Odin detects it, the ID:COM box should turn blue or yellow depending upon your Odin version. Make sure that the options selected in your Odin are exactly as shown below.
  • Odin_TechBeasts
    • Select PDA and select the extracted firmware file , it should be in .tar.md5 format.
    • Hit Start and the firmware installation process will begin.
    • As soon as it ends, your phone will restart… phewww! you’ve installed Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on your Note 2 successfully.
    • Now turn off your device and agian go into download mod connect your device with PC open odin click on PDA then select { .tar.md5 } from the extracted folder, then click start it will take few minutes. Once done your device will restart, this whole process is for your network. If you don’t install this file you device will not get signals.
    • Now turn off your phone once again, and boot into recovery, in order to do this turn on your phone by pressing and holding Volume Up + Home Button + Power Key. Now when you are recovery mode, wipe Factory data and reset cache here.
    • That’s all! Reboot the phone and enjoy the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on your device before others get it 😀

There is no official date announced for the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean complete Stock Firmware, if you can’t wait, then this leaked firmware will do the job for you.
