How to Make Any Android Device Look Like Stock Android 4.4 KitKat [Guide]

The phone manufacturers always put their very own UI in their Android smartphones with some additional features like HTC users its Sense and Samsung uses its TouchWiz, but obviously the phones come with different Android versions and have different features in the UI, not only this different phones have different prices so its hard to enjoy the upgraded user interface on a low end device. The UI is the only thing that helps the manufacturers to differentiate their devices from one another, so they always try to change it to the best one they can produce. But with time, things seem to get slow down and users want to get rid of the device’s default UI and it needs to be changed.

So, in the case, what you can do is, you need to root your device and install a custom recovery then install a custom rom like CyanogenMod to enjoy a new user interface. But rooting the device is quite confusing and tough, specially because it voids the warranty and you can’t get the free services for your phone anymore by the service centers or some users are afraid of rooting your device.

Android KitKat

To overcome this, we’ve made a guide for all of you to make your device’s UI look like Stock Android, that Google has brought up in Nexus 5 – the Android 4.4 KitKat one. The thing i love about Google’s stock android launcher / interface is that, this is by far the most responsive interface and works like charm. The method does not require root and does not involve any complex steps, it is simply the installation of some apps through play store and apk files. This is also a good news for those who will not be getting the Android 4.4 KitKat update on their devices, but they will still be able to enjoy almost all of the main features of Android 4.4 KitKat on low end Android devices.
