How To Install SkyDragon G3 Android 4.4.2 Kit-Kat Custom ROM on T-Mobile LG G3

LG G3, LGEs flagship device and most probably one of the best Android devices of 2014, competing equally with Sony Xperia Z3 and HTC One M8, Galaxy S5 was able to reach a little bit with it, but with the arrival of Galaxy Note 4, users have lost their interest in Samsung and now moving towards other OEMs, and what best to switch to than LG. Like its predecessor, LG G3 is dominating the market, despite we don’t heard much about it, yet it is sold with an extraordinary Number in Market. Same Like it predecessor, LG G2, LG G3 is quite fast and smooth, far better than Samsung, as their TouchWiz lags a lot, even on device like Note 3 and Power Horse like Galaxy S5, you will experience a little lag, but on LG G3 only thing you’ll experience, if you switch from Samsung to LG, is its Weight, its a little heavier than Galaxy S4 or Galaxy S5, which is something that I love to own as it gives you a feel that it is still in your Pocket.

As always, when it comes a Flagship device and especially a device whose Predecessor has taken a lot of Fame, Carriers won’t leave it just like that. Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint these companies, love to take part in Flagship devices, making them Carrier bounded one. And thanks to developers for taking good care of these carriers bounded devices, T-Mobile G3 has a splendid Custom ROM awaiting on XDA to be installed on it, however, not all the users feels great while visiting XDA Forums, so other sites who put the installation tutorial online are preferred over such forums in many cases and today we will show you why. However,If you are interested in Other ROMs, you can Visit our Custom ROMs section or you can install this ROM on your T-Mobile LG G3 by following our tutorial below. Early Preparations:

1. This is only for T-Mobile LG G3!

This custom ROM is only for the device mentioned above. Make sure that your model number matches the one listed above. To do so, go to Settings > About Device on your device and see your model number. Flashing this ROM on any other device will result in bricking it so make sure that you meet this requirement first of all.

2. Battery should be charged at least over 60%

Make sure that your battery is charged enough to complete the flashing process. In case your battery is low and your device goes dead during the flashing process, you may end up soft bricking your device as it won’t complete the flashing process.

3. Flash a Custom Recovery

A custom recovery, a CWM  or TWRP is required to flash this ROM. You need to root your device too, so follow the Root link to do so

4. Backup everything!

Just to be on the safe side, you may consider backing up each and everything from your Android device. This is highly recommended so that in case anything goes wrong, you still have the access to all of your data and you can restore it immediately. You may backup everything as listed below.

5. Disclaimer

The methods involved in flashing custom recoveries, roms and rooting your phone are highly custom and may result in bricking your device, and has nothing to do with Google or the device manufacturer that is LGE in our case. Also rooting your device will void its warranty and you will be no longer eligible for any kind of free device services by the manufacturers/warranty providers. Incase of any mishap we may not be held responsible. Follow these instructions to the letter to avoid any mishap or bricking. Make sure that whatever you do, you are doing it at your own responsibility.
