  1. First of all check your device’s model number under Settings > More / General > About Device. Make sure that your phone is Galaxy S6 SM-G920F or Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925F. Also make sure that you’re not using any carrier branded phone. Your phone should be an unlocked variant.
  2. After checking the device model number, you’ve to check the firmware version. You can check the build number or baseband version in the About Device section and find out the BTU code. If your device isn’t running on the BTU firmware, you can use the guide linked above to install it.
