There are many reasons which can cause this error “unfortunately WhatsApp has stopped “. Once you start getting this error you cannot use WhatsApp properly so in order to get rid of this annoying situation follow my step by step guide below.

Step#1: Open Settings on your Android device.

Step#2: Now tap on More tab. [ I am using Galaxy Note 3 ]

Step#3: Tap on Application Manager form the list.

Step#4: Now select All Application with a swipe to left.

Step#5: There you’ll see all your installed apps, Tap on WhatsApp.

Step#6: Now all you have to do tap on Clear Cache and Clear data.

Step#7: Now go to home screen and restart your device.

All Done …

Fix Unfortunately WhatsApp Has Stopped Using APK.

  • First, you have to uninstall the current version of WhatsApp.
  • Download the Latest WhatsApp APK.
  • Install the latest WhatsApp.

If this method is not working for you then you have to uninstall the WhatsApp app and install the latest updated version of Google Play. If by any means still, you are facing the same issue, I think you should try to install the old version of WhatsApp app that will help you to get rid of Unfortunately WhatsApp Has Stopped.

  2. In stead of clearing catch only … Clear the data and clear the catch..after that open ur watsaap account and then veryfy ur mo.. No… After that continew button presd and then restore the data..and then do as per they instruct…. These steeps would helpfull.. In this way i got read from that “unfortuniately stopage” … Flashed message ..

  3. My problem was related to google maps when clicking on watsapp an err pop showed. Goto settings n application manager then go to maps and set as defaults thn goto supported url via this app chk box. Select it
