Honor V9 with 6GB RAM and dual-camera to be unveiled on 21 February

Huawei will be announcing a new Honor smartphone later this month. With all eyes at MWC, Huawei will be kicking off the party earlier by launching Honor V9 on 21st February. A teaser for the device is making rounds today confirming this detail. Honor brand is synonymous for producing great budget smartphone with amazing specs which is also evident in the upcoming device.

Honor V9 passed through TENAA, so we have some information about the specs of the device. Honor V9 will be equipped with a 5.7 inch Quad HD display. Under the hood it will have be powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 960 processor along with a 6 GB RAM and 64 GB RAM which can be expanded through the microSD card. A dual camera setup will be found at the rear of the device which has a 12MP camera and 2MP sensor and an 8MP front facing camera. The smartphone will be powered by a 3,900mAh battery and will run Android 7.0 Nougat.

Huawei Honor V9 will retail at $349. As V8 was only available for sale in China, there is a strong probability that V9 will intially be only limited to the Chinese market. Then maybe other Asian markets will also get to see this smartphone.
