HMD Global made quite a splash at the Mobile World Congress with their Nokia-branded smartphones. Now the question on consumers mind is that when will they get their hands on the smartphones. According to a new report HMD Global is planning to launch the Nokia smartphones simultaneously in 120 countries. Well this may get a little trickier but most probably Nokia smartphones will arrive in different markets any time from April-June period.

At the moment HMD Global is getting the device out for certifications for different markets and if things go according to plan, the end of Q2 is the most likely time period for the devices.  Clove UK confirmed the launch dates of the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 for May and Nokia 6 for June.

HMD Global with the current Nokia lineup plans to revive the brand. There has been a lot of interest globally with both new and old users of the brand. At the moment the company is targeting the entry level and mid-range category and that seems to be a smart choice as well. Once people get to know the brands and they have re-established their name in-terms of providing quality products with solid specs they can then slowly move towards diversifying their lineup.  Nokia 6 in every flash sale in China got sold out in under minutes, let’s see how the rest of the smartphones fare.
