Google is done with the 8th iteration of its Android OS. The new version of Android has been named after the Oreo cookie. Android 8.0 adds more to the sweetness of Google’s OS. Right after announcing Android 8.0 Oreo, Google rolled out the firmware for its Nexus and Pixel smartphones. It is now the time for other smartphone manufacturers to gear up towards the roll-out of Android 8.0 Oreo for their phones. Samsung, Sony, LG, Huawei, Motorola and all others are working now on the devices which will be upgraded to Android 8.0.
Sony has just taken one more step in this regard and it published a list of devices that will get Android 8.0 Oreo. After seeing the list, many Sony Xperia users had to put their heads down after seeing no mention of the Xperia Z5.
