Just recently, two smartphones by Lenovo were spotted on GFXBench. The baffling thing about the spotting is that both smartphones, allegedly, have similar specifications – MediaTek MT6735P SoC in addition to a 5 inch HD display.
The benchmark further reveals that, under the hood, both smartphone will host 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage. The 2 smartphones feature the same 8 megapixel camera at the back while a 5 megapixel camera will be available for selfies and video chats. Furthermore, Android v6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed with both handsets.
Lets have a look at the model numbers in detail. The ‘XT’ part in XT1700 and XT1706 suggest that these smartphones are in fact Motorolla handsets. It might be possible that two handsets with same specifications but different outer looks are in development. However, various rumors claims that the, alleged Motorolla devices might be the next generation Moto E or keeping in mind the fact that Lenovo acquired Motorolla not long ago the name might be: Lenovo Moto E.
