Galaxy S8 gets announced in Burgundy Red but there’s a high chance you will not buy it

Announcing exclusive color models is a habit of phone manufacturers and unfortunately, Samsung follows the same approach with the Galaxy S8 Burgundy Red unveiling in the form of a new ad. If you take a look at the video below, you will notice that the advertisement has been catered to Korean viewers, which just goes to show that the smartphone is most likely going to be exclusive to the Korean market.

Galaxy S8 Burgundy Red

This is not the first time that Samsung has given preference to consumers living in South Korea. During the announcement of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ that took place earlier this year, the company failed to mention that it was going to release a higher RAM and internal storage version in this country while the majority of the regions where the phone was getting released was going to sport the regular 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration.

Still, if you’re not drooling over this new color model, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about because there are no hardware changes added to this version. It gets the same treatment in the hardware department, ranging from an Exynos 8895 chipset and a single-lens rear-mounted 12MP camera that can shoot 4K video at 30 frames per second.

It has not been detailed if this particular version will feature 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of storage but with the Note 8 released and shredding through the competition, it would have been a good move for Samsung.

The Burgundy Red color looks very stunning and combine that with the aluminum and glass back, you get a very attractive combination of performance and aesthetics. Just make sure you are extra careful while handling this expensive phone because the glass present at the back has a tendency to break very easily when dropped.
