Samsung will be announcing Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on March 29th. With a few weeks to go, news around tech town regarding Galaxy S8 is catching momentum creating a buzz in the air. Courtesy of different leaks and updates, we now know what Galaxy S8 and S8+ will look like and the flagships may feature the facial recognition tech. Amidst all this @OnLeaks has shared information as to how Samsung’s latest flagships compare in terms of size with Galaxy S6, S7, Galaxy Note 7, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. This added information does give us a very good idea as what will be the size of Galaxy S8 and S8+ given their 5.7-inch and 6.2-inch display.

Samsung with Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge went with a 5.1-inch and a 5.5-inch display, but for Galaxy S8 and S8+ they adopted a 5.7-inch and a 6.2-inch display. The display size was increased to attract consumers who are in the market for a new phablet after the Note 7. Well, if we look at the images closely, one of the things that is apparent is that Galaxy S8 is smaller than Galaxy Note 7 and narrower. While Galaxy S8+ is only taller than Note 7. Samsung with Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have went with the bezel less Infinity Display and that looks amazing while giving the device a sleek all glass look.

Even though heated discussions of forums have pointed that Galaxy S8+ will be huge device, in the schematic comparisons that does not seem to be the case. Galaxy S8+ and iPhone 7 Plus are similar in height. This means that despite the 6.2-inch display size, Samsung has worked more on increasing the screen to body ratio, keeping the device size well in bounds.

Well these are just schematic comparisons and with the devices yet to be announced, some things may very well change till the end day. So, stay tuned to see what different leaksters bring for us next.
