Samsung is gearing up to launch its slimmest smartphone yet, the Galaxy A7, the newest addition to the Galaxy A line. The details were confirmed today after the smartphone got certified from Chinese regulator, TENAA.
Initially the smartphone will be released and produced for the Chinese market like its predecessors Galaxy A3 and A5. But the company has claimed that this series will be launched for other international markets as well. Let’s see when this series comes to your country.
Galaxy A7 will sport a 5.5 inch display. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with a 2GB RAM and a 16 GB non-extendable memory. The device will come with a 13-megapixel rear-end camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The device’s camera matches A5’s features.
Galaxy A7 measures to be 150.9 x 75.9 x 6.3 mm, making it the slimmest device from Samsung. As per previous devices from this series go, the smartphone will most probably come in a metal casing and its rear panel will be made from polycarbonate.
Manufacturers who want to survive in today’s competitive market have to constantly innovate, the adage ‘innovate or go home’, fits nowhere better than this industry currently. Samsung seems to have followed this principle by not only focusing on the internal functioning of the smartphone but also in its build as well.
