Microsoft Lumia 650 which is to be released with two different variants, single SIM RM-1152 and dual SIM RM-1154, has been cleared by FCC. Although the RM-1152 variant had been given the clearance in early January, the other variant got its go ahead just recently.
The Lumia 650 and the Lumia 650XL are being expected to be revealed on February 15th, a few days shy of the anxiously awaited MWC event by Samsung. It could cost around $320 USD as this phone is designed to suit the needs of a businessman in the lowest cost possible.
It should be noted that Lumia 650 XL is almost the same as Lumia 650 except for its screen size which has been upgraded to 5.4 inches.
Coming back to the recently cleared dual SIM variant of Lumia 650, some of its specifications are discussed ahead. The 650 will be equipped with 5″ AMOLED display with a pixel density of 294ppi. A 2000mAh battery is used to keep the phone alive while the processor is expected to be either Snapdragon 210 SoC or Snapdragon 212 SoC. A microSD slot along with Lumia Glance Screen is also on board. Last but not the least, the phone will be equipped with 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
