Facebook brings Live Video streaming for the desktop

Facebook rolled out the popular Live Video Streaming feature last year. This has been a very popular feature with people from different walks of life. People were able to go live from their mobile devices. Now the company has rolled out this feature for desktop/laptops too.

This will definitely provide users with more stable camera setup and would work for different types of video content produced. Like a live Q/A session to tutorials especially in the cases where you are not on the move.

This feature can now be accessed on the Facebook desktop site. Just go to the Live video button and click that either from your Timeline or the News Feed and start rolling. There aren’t any differences from the Live Video feature available for the mobile. Maybe in the future, more features may get added for the desktop users.

With YouTube going mobile, Facebook is heading to YT territory by adding the live feature for the desktop computers. The possibility of what one can do and the audiences that can be reached through Facebook will definitely make users think twice about selecting which platform they would like to go ahead with for their broadcast.
